Ain Shams University wins 16 awards in various fields of the eleventh season of the Creativity Festival

During the closing ceremony of Creativity Festival in its 11th edition in the literary, scientific and artistic fields, for students of universities, higher institutes, and governmental and private academies, held under the auspices of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, and organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Central Administration for Youth Development, the General Administration of Cultural Programs and Artistic” in the presence of Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth and Sports, Dr. Mahmoud Hussein, Chairman of the Youth and Sports Committee in the House of Representatives, Major General Ahmed Rashid, Governor of Giza, Governor of Gharbia, Dr. Tarek Rahmi, and a group of writers, public figures, media professionals and artists.

The students of Ain Shams University won 16 prizes from the first places in the 11th Creativity Festival after a strong competition that lasted for nearly three months with male and female students from various Egyptian universities and institutes, under the auspices of Prof. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of the University and Prof. Abdel Fattah Saud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, where Prof. Tamer Rady, Advisor to the Vice President for Education and Student Affairs for Student Activities Awards on behalf of Prof. Dr.. Abdul Fattah Saud.

         
     
         

The prizes were as follows:

- In the cultural competitions, the student / Mustafa Refaat Jaber, Faculty of Science, won the second place prize in the field of theatrical composition, with a financial prize of (18,000 pounds).

- In scientific competitions, student / Asim Khaled Farouk, College of Engineering, student / Youssef Muhammad Ahmed, College of Engineering, student / Muslim Muhammad Abdul Rahman, College of Engineering, won the first place award in the field of scientific innovations (automated submarines and robots) with a financial prize of (50,000) fairy).

         
     
         

The student / Ahmed Emad Anwar Al-Sayed, Faculty of Engineering, student / Karim Mohamed Abdel Hamid, Faculty of Engineering, student / Youssef Mohamed Khaled, Faculty of Engineering, won the second place award in the field of scientific innovations (artificial intelligence, the Internet of things and applications of technology of things) with a financial prize of $ (45,000 pounds).

While the prizes for group art competitions were as follows:

1- The first place prize for group playing, led by Maestro Mahmoud Sami, with a prize of (95,000 pounds)

2- The first place award in the field of group religious chanting led by Maestro / Mahmoud Waheed, with a prize of (35,000 pounds)

3- The second place award in the field of collective chanting, led by Maestro / Mahmoud Waheed, with a prize of (28,000 pounds)

4- The second place award in the field of group folklore, led by the artist / Hassan Shehata, with a financial prize of (112,000 pounds).

5- Third place award in the field of theatrical acting (The Hunchback of Notre Dame) for the acting team of Al-Alsun College, directed by the student Ahmed Tariq, with a financial prize of (75,000 pounds)

The prizes for individual art competitions are as follows:

1- The third place prize in the field of hymns for the student / Kyrollos Safwat Sawiris, Faculty of Pharmacy, with a financial prize of (16,000 pounds)

2- First Place Award (Best Movement Performer) in the field of folklore for student/ Suhaila Mohamed Amer, Faculty of Arts, with a financial prize of (5000 pounds).

3- The second place award in the field of solo performig (specialist) for the student / Ahmed Fatouh Abdel-Majeed, Faculty of Specific Education, with a financial prize of (18,000 pounds).

4- The second place award in the field of solo singing for the student / Ziyad Muhammad Kamal Al-Saeed, Faculty of Engineering, with a financial prize of (18,000 pounds)

5- First place award (best director) in the field of amateur theater for the student / Ahmed Tarik Othman, Faculty of Al-Alsun, with a financial prize of (5000 pounds).

6- Second Place Award (Best Director) in the field of amateur theater for the student / Khaled Gamal Shishtawy, Faculty of Computer and Information Sciences, with a financial prize of (4000 pounds).

7- The second place award (best actor) in the field of amateur theater for the student / Mohamed Abdel Rahman Ali, Faculty of Computer and Information Sciences, with a financial prize of (4000 pounds).

8- Second place award (Best Actress) in the field of amateur theater for the student / Sondos Gad Sayed, Faculty of Computer and Information Sciences, with a financial prize of (4000 pounds).

Thus, the total value of the prizes of Ain Shams University in the eleventh season of the Creativity Festival amounted to (514,000 pounds), only five hundred and fourteen thousand pounds.

In this context, Prof. Abdel-Fattah Saoud said that the harvest of university students from the festival’s awards and their top positions in various fields of competition came as a result of hard and organized work for a long time for the education sector and students and the support, encouragement and training provided to university students in various activities, as it has become usual for them to be ranked first in various forums International and local, citing the university students' harvest in Creativity 9 and Creativity 10 festivals in the past two years and their winning a huge number of awards in all areas of the festival.

He affirmed the continued support of the education sector and students for all the talented and other students of the university, as the sector adopts the idea of expanding the student participation base to discover and develop the largest amount of talents and capabilities, believing in the importance of forming a balanced personality capable of success and capable of confronting any extremist and misconceptions with an educated, enlightened thought and a strong spirit to guide our country. The best youth capable of giving and building.

This came under the supervision of Prof. Tamer Rady, advisor to the Vice President for Student Activities, and supervision by Mrs. Reham Al-Otifi, in charge of the university's assistant secretary for education and student affairs, prof. Tarik Ahmed, Acting Director General of University Youth Welfare, and Mrs. Moustafa Issa, Director of the Technical Activity Department, Mrs. Hend Hamed, head of the Department of Performing Arts, and each of the management supervisors, Mr. Abdel-Fadil Kamal and Mr. Ahmed Adel.

The closing ceremony of the festival included many artistic performances by the students of the participating universities.

It is worth noting that the Creativity Competition is one of the most important national projects in the field of arts and culture concerned with discovering talented and creative people in various cultural, artistic and creative fields, and its prizes amount to 5 million pounds for the winners in various individual and collective fields.
