The Faculty of Law participates in the panel discussion organized by the National Council for Human Rights on the topic of "fair criminal trial"

The National Council for Human Rights held throughout the day a panel discussion on the topic of "fair criminal trial", in which Prof. Mohamed Safi, Professor of Public International Law and Dean of the Faculty of Law at Ain Shams University, and Prof. Jamil Abdel-Baqi, Professor of Criminal Law and former Dean of the Faculty, participated. They spoke, respectively, on the topics of "commitment to harmonize domestic legislation with international human rights treaties", and "guarantees for the accused at the trial stage".

The panel discussion was opened by Ambassador Dr. Moshira Khattab, President of the National Council for Human Rights, and was attended by members of the Council, and a number of public and human rights figures, and concluded with recommendations to ensure a fair and just trial.
