The Faculty of Law Council, chaired by Professor Mohamed Safi, Dean of the Faculty, held its periodic meeting on Monday, corresponding to 12/6, in the presence of the faculty deans, heads of departments, members of the council, the director of the English section, and the director of the quality unit.
The Council followed up on the progress of the May round exams, which began on the twenty-first of May and ends on the fifteenth of June, where the dean of the faculty and the vice-rectors presented the new procedures that the faculty followed to reduce students’ lateness for the exams and the tangible positive results that these procedures resulted in.
The Council also followed up on the outcome of the visit of the National Authority for Quality Assurance of University Education and Accreditation team to the faculty and emphasized support for the faculty administration's direction towards accreditation of all its programs.
The Council discussed at length the mechanisms for ensuring the quality of the course content and emphasized in this regard the role of the scientific department in ensuring the up-to- updates, and completeness of the course content, and its observance of legislative, judicial, and jurisprudential developments related to it.
The council approved some of the recommendations made by the academic departments, student affairs committees, postgraduate studies, research, community service, and environmental development, especially with regard to preparing for the new academic year 2023/2024.
