The 11th student conference of the Faculty of Nursing and the 8th for International students

Prof. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President of Ain Shams University for Education and Student Affairs, inaugurated the activities of the eleventh and eighth student conference for incoming students, organized by the Faculty of Nursing, entitled "Professional Paths in Nursing between Opportunities and Challenges to Achieve Sustainability and Excellence", which was held under the auspices of Prof. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of the University, Prof. Abdel-Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, supervised by Prof. Sahar Mousa, Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Amira Muhammad Attia, Director of the International Students Unit, and student Youssef Sameh Badran, President of the Student Union.

         
   
         

The conference was witnessed by Prof. Taya Abdel Latif, Professor at the Faculty of Agriculture and a member of the Faculty Council, prof. Dr.. Shahira Samir, Executive Director of the International Relations and Academic Cooperation Sector at the University, Prof. Dr.. Hayam Refaat, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Dr.. Siham Gerges, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research, Prof. Dr.. Sherawat Al-Ahmadi, Director of the Expatriate Department at the university, and a number of faculty members, assistant staff, postgraduate students, and international students at the Faculty.

         
   
         

Prof. Abdel Fattah Saoud that Ain Shams University is always keen to increase the number of international students to study in Egypt by launching a package of educational services and modern programs and obtaining the highest international rankings among international universities, which contributes to making the university a destination for international students to study there during the past years

The university is also one of the fourth generation universities that support and support its students in all aspects of the student's life in order to refine his personality and become a different, innovative, distinguished graduate who is able to compete in the local and international market, hoping that the conference will come out with applied recommendations that positively affect the educational, research and service process for students.

         
   
         

Prof. Abdel-Fattah Saoud praised the agenda of the conference, pointing out that the objectives of the conference revolve around knowledge, innovation and scientific research as they are basic pillars of development, in addition to shedding light on all that is new in nursing sciences and exchanging research and new scientific experiences among students, as well as supporting, organizing and achieving student initiatives in the fields scientific and research and publish their research and creative production.

         
   
         

Prof. Sahar Moussa confirmed the faculty's keenness to hold such a conference periodically to achieve more rapprochement between students of different nationalities, integrate foreign students, reduce their feelings of alienation away from their home countries, support student activity within the faculty, and refine their skills and talents, allowing for the graduation of a student capable of facing the challenges of the age by activating the uses of modern technological means in the various disciplines of nursing science, which makes him able to distinguish within the labor market, given that the nursing sector is one of the important medical sectors in the health system within any society.

         
   
         

Prof. Sahar Mousa thanked Prof. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of the University for his wonderful support and continuous support for the faculty and its students and his pioneering, different and distinguished vision to advance the progress of the faculty very quickly. University education and reached the highest levels of government excellence, as His Excellency always leaves a positive impact on all students, and also leaves bright marks in the conscience of the Faculty of Nursing and always shows the university in an honorable and wonderful way, as well as thanking all attendees.

         
   
         

Dr. Sahar Mousa, reviewed the conference themes revolve around education, innovation, entrepreneurship, leadership and evidence-based practice, as well as improving the quality of health care and information management.

It is worth noting that, on the sidelines of the conference, several exhibitions of scientific and artistic products and expatriate students were held, as well as an exhibition of popular folklore.
