Next Monday, March 6, 2023, the final activities of the Science Innovate Competition will be launched at the Faculty of Science, at Ain Shams University, under the title “Innovate and create”, under the auspices of Prof. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of Ain Shams University and Prof. Mohamed Ragaa El-Satohi, Dean of the Faculty of Science and Prof. Iman Abdel-Azim, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Science for Education and Student Affairs, and implementation and supervision by Dr. Islam Adly, Coordinator of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Unit at the Faculty of Science.

Where Prof. Muhammad Rajaa Al-Satohi explained that the final stage of the Science Innovates competition, during which 13 teams will duel with the participation of 64 male and female students out of 19 applied research projects that serve various fields of science and the goals of sustainable development. At the beginning of registration for the competition.

His Excellency added that the results will be announced on Thursday, March 9, and the first three teams will be qualified for the Ain Shams Innovations competition.

Dr. Islam Adly, coordinator of the innovation unit at the faculty , explained that the research projects qualified for the final stage are interdisciplinary, as the main researchers of the research projects were affiliated with the following departments and programs:

3 projects of the biotechnology program

1 Applied Analytical Microbiology Program Project

1 Materials and Nanotechnology Program Project

1 Mathematics Department Project (Computer Science)

3 Biochemistry department project

2 Project of the Department of Chemistry

2 Microbiology Department project

Prof. Muhammad Rajaa Al-Satohi indicated that during the past few days, the students were trained by the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship at ASU-IHUB during the BootCamp, which was held during the mid-year vacation period, indicating that the students confirmed that they benefited greatly from this training.
