Within the framework of cooperation between Egyptian universities, including Ain Shams University, the Information and Decision Support Center in the Council of Ministers, and the interest in enhancing the participation of the research community and youth in priority issues to support decision-makers and bring up these issues for community discussion, the Center's Public Policy Forum launched a national initiative aimed at involving various think tanks and society National and academic under the title "You think for our country... Our ideas are our future: 50 ideas for a more competitive and sustainable economy."
In this context, Ain Shams University invites faculty staff to participate in the activities of the initiative by presenting policy papers and proposing innovative ideas to enhance Egypt's foreign exchange resources within the framework of (23) main topics that have been identified according to the state's directives to increase the competitiveness and sustainability of the Egyptian economy, as the initiative allows. For researchers to submit research proposals on other topics within the (5) main axes of the initiative, including enhancing Egyptian exports, encouraging foreign direct investment, enhancing tourism sector revenues, increasing remittances of Egyptians working abroad, and enhancing the revenues of the Suez Canal), at the level of individual participation of experts and members Teaching staff or participating in work teams of master's and doctoral students and faculty staff.

In the same context, the Center has the honor to invite students from the second to fourth grades to participate in the summer training program within the initiative for a period of (3) months, which contributes to training them in understanding the decision-making environment, tools for influencing public policy, and how to write effective policy papers that can be transferred with training.
