Today, Prof. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of Ain Shams University, and Dr. Mohamed Mansour El-Sheikh, Head of Cairo Pharmacists Syndicate, signed a joint cooperation protocol, at the Zafaran Palace, in the presence of Prof. Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, Prof. Ghada Farouk, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, a number of deans and vice-presidents, members of Cairo Pharmacists Syndicate, Mr. Amr Sobhi, Deputy Director of Legal Affairs for the Pharmacists Syndicate in Cairo.
Prof. Amani Kamel, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, and Prof. Ali Al-Anwar, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, stressed the importance of the protocol in raising the professional and scientific level of doctors, pharmacists and health workers.
Where Prof. Khaled Kadri, Dean of the Faculty of Business, Prof. Safaa Shehata, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Education, Prof. Hayam Refaat, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Nursing for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Prof. Heba Barakat, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Girls for Community Service and Environmental Development, discussed ways to make professional diploma programs available in the various faculties of the university for members of the Cairo Pharmacists Syndicate to participate in, in addition to many different scientific cooperation activities.
This cooperation results in giving the opportunity for practical training to a greater number of pharmacists and workers in the field of health care, as well as benefiting from the high-level professional cadres at the university, and providing an opportunity for graduates of diplomas issued by the relevant institute to register in the records of specialists in the Pharmacists Syndicate in the corresponding specializations.
