The University Awards Office of the Graduate Studies Sector announced that the university competed this year with this award: L’Oréal UNESCO For Women in Science Egypt Young Talents program fellowships

The candidacy comes with two female candidates who have fulfilled all their data for the award on the university’s database for awards in its various fields, all requirements for candidacy, and follow-up with the Awards Office in all procedures and steps. All forms of technical support were provided to them through the Awards Office and all the supporting work team until obtaining candidacy letters. Approved by His Excellency the President of the University and uploading all the requirements on the award’s website. The participants were 2 candidates from the Faculty of Women, with follow-up and distinguished efforts from the faculty administration with the Awards Office.

It is worth noting that L'Oréal UNESCO Egypt for Women in Science 2023 is an opportunity to highlight the participation and reward of young Egyptian women in the fields of physical sciences and life sciences.

It is noteworthy that the L'Oréal-UNESCO Egypt Program for Women in Science 2023 honors three distinguished young Egyptian women researchers for the quality of their research work in the field of life sciences (such as biology, biochemistry, biophysics, genetics, physiology, neurosciences, biotechnology, environment, and behavioral sciences). , as well as physical sciences (such as physics, chemistry, petroleum, engineering, mathematics, engineering sciences, information sciences, earth, and universe sciences), explaining that two scholarships will be awarded to two Egyptian researchers working in post-doctoral studies in a research laboratory, institute or university in Egypt, and one scholarship will be awarded to an Egyptian researcher She is pursuing her Ph.D. studies in a research laboratory, institute or university in Egypt.

This comes within the encouragement and support given by the university in the field of awards through its management of young female researchers and future scientists, due to the importance of this field in achieving leadership and excellence for the university.
