Prof. Ghada Farouk, Acting President of Ain Shams University, and Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development, confirmed that Ain Shams University provided a package of qualifying and distinguished programs for students, adding that there are advanced programs that serve the country’s needs in the fields of energy, technology and artificial intelligence. This came in an interview with the Youm7 newspaper, in its issue issued on Thursday, August 10.

Dr. Ghada Farouk, Acting President of Ain Shams University, and Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environment Affairs, said that the university is preparing in the current period for the next academic year in full preparation, as the summer period was used in development and maintenance work for all facilities, lecture halls, laboratories and equipment, where a process is being conducted Comprehensive maintenance of all university facilities in preparation for the start of the academic year.

Dr. Ghada Farouk indicated that the university is keen to prepare a set of training courses and qualifying programs for the labor market in coordination with the ASU Career center at the university through a distinguished work team that is based on implementing various and advanced training courses that qualify the student for the labor market, by providing them with the skills needed by the labor market, such as communication skills, how to write a CV to apply for various jobs, how to deal with personal interviews for jobs, and other various skills with the aim of providing a student and graduate who is able to integrate into the labor market.

She noted that the university also implements courses on the productive student initiative in cooperation with the Ministry of Social Solidarity, and the university is also keen to help students develop their own ideas and products, through training courses on feasibility studies, marketing studies, and exhibitions to display the products of our students.

And on how to choose the student for what the labor market qualifies for, the university gave important advice to the students that the student should choose the appropriate program and specialization appropriate to his inclinations and desires, and how he sees himself after the university years from a position he aspires to, and he must be aware of the labor market and the future of the labor market, and the jobs available today and tomorrow and what is new in the labor market in various fields have become more demanded, especially since there are many jobs that arise and other jobs that are less in demand, so the student must be aware of the appropriate program that is consistent with the requirements of the labor market in the future, pointing out that the focus It is no longer focused on the top faculties, as the outlook has changed.

And about university dormitories and preparations for receiving students with the new academic year, she indicated that university dormitories are subject to comprehensive development and maintenance at this stage, especially since students are now the least possible, so work is being done to develop them to be at the highest level.

Regarding the number of students expected to receive them with the new academic year, “Farouk” indicated that the total number of students at Ain Shams University is about 200,000 students, including 50,000 students in one batch.
