Bronze medal to Ain Shams University in the Universities Youth Week activities

Ain Shams University students achieved victory in many areas of activities during the activities of the Egyptian Universities and Higher Institutes Youth Week in its 13th session, which is organized by Helwan University from the eighth to the fourteenth of this September.

That is under the auspices of Prof. Ghada Farouk, Acting President of Ain Shams University, and Prof. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs.

Under the supervision of Prof. Mamdouh Abdel Aleem, Advisor to the Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, Mr. Ibrahim Saeed Hamza, Assistant Secretary of the University for Education and Student Affairs, and Prof. Hatem Rabie, leader of the Students for Egypt family and head of the Ain Shams University delegation, Mr. Tariq Ahmed, Acting Director General of the General Administration of Youth Welfare, and in the presence of Union students, Maryam Khaled, President of the Ain Shams University Union, and Ali Hassan, Vice President of the Union.

         
   
         

The sports activity at Ain Shams University won and gained many points under the leadership and supervision of Mr. Mohamed Hassan, Director of the Sports Activity Department, and Captain Fatima Khalifa, Girls Volleyball Supervisor, where the student, Tariq Abdel Razek, from Ain Shams University, took first place in the individual student table tennis game. The student, Rawan Zakaria, won third place and a bronze medal, and the student, Menna Allah Tariq, won third place, duplicate, in the individual table tennis, female students, under the training of Captain Alaa Al-Baz.

In addition to the victory of the futsal team over the Minya team 0/1, and the victory of the basketball team over the Assiut University team 36/53 under the training of Captain Ahmed Mahdy, and the supervision of Captain Islam Ahmed,

         
   
         

Also, the volleyball team of Ain Shams University students won over Al-Azhar University 0/2 under the training of Captain Yasser Abdel Hadi, and the volleyball team of female students of Ain Shams University won over Sadat University 0/2 under the training of Captain Fatima Khalifa. The Ain Shams University handball team achieved victory over Port Said University 15/20 under the training of Captain Ashraf Yehia.

In the artistic activity, under the management of Mr. Mustafa Issa and under the leadership of Coach. Mr. Mahmoud Sami, the team’s technical coach, Hind Hamed and Hala Suleiman, supervisors of the artistic activity, and Ziad Siddiq, Secretary of the University’s Higher Technical Committee, and the activities of the musical competition began with the choral team and the music team, in addition to completing of the preparation of Exhibition and sculpture competition.

         
   
         

In the cultural activity, under the supervision of Mr. Mohamed Taha, Director of Cultural Activity and Communications Officer, Mr. Mohamed Abdel Fattah, Mr. Karim Wajiya, and Hoda Radi, supervisors of cultural activity, the activities of the Complete Holy Quran Competition for Boys and Girls, the TV Reporter Competition for Boys and Girls, and the Wall Magazine Competition were completed and judged.

         
   
         

In the field of social activity, under the supervision of Mr. Salem Ahmed, Director of Social Activities, and Mr. Haitham Mahrous, Social Activity Supervisor, the fifth round of the female chess team ended with the victory of Ain Shams University over South Valley University and Cairo University.

In the sixth round of the ideal student competition, student Khaled Muhammad Ali won, from Sohag University, student Mustafa Yasser Ali from Fayoum University, student Maryam Ahmed Ali from Mansoura University, and student Zainab Ezzat tied with Assiut University until the ideal student competition was completed in activities and training courses, in addition to the beginning of the medical convoy team under the supervision of student Muhammad Abdel-Al and student Manar Ashour.

         
   
         

Scientific activity achieved progress under the supervision of Mr. Talaat Abdo, Director of Scientific and Technological Activity, and Ahmed Abdel Aziz, Activity Officer in judging the Robotics Competition, in addition to the Scientific Information League.

Regarding Scouts, under the supervision of Mrs. Asmaa Khater, Director of the Scouts Department, and Mrs. Iman Hassan, Supervisor of the Scouts at Ain Shams University, a scout public service project, a leader and scout competition, male and female, and a religious statement were initiated, and a presentation was given on renewable energy, finally, the summer party for Ain Shams University students was presented.
