The Faculty of Law celebrates the graduation of class (70) in the presence of senior statesmen

The Faculty of Law, Ain Shams University, celebrated the graduation of class (70) at the university guest house, in the presence of Prof. Ghada Farouk, Acting President of the University and Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, Prof. Muhammad Safi, Dean of the Faculty, Counselor Musaad Abdul Maqsoud, Chairman of the State Litigation Authority, Major General Dr. Hani Abu Al-Makarem, President of the Police Academy, His Excellency Sheikh Ahmed bin Nasser Al-Nuaimi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al-Buraimi University Faculty in the sisterly Sultanate of Oman, and Prof. Yasser Fouad, Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Ayman Saleh, former Vice President of the University for Graduate Studies and Research, Prof. Muhammad Al-Shafi’i, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Yassin Al-Shazly, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Graduate Studies and Research, Prof. Ahmed Dehoum, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, Dr. Reem Al-Kabariti, Director of the University’s Alumni Association, and a large group of faculty deans, faculty staff, their assistants and employees.

       
         

In her speech, Prof. Ghada Farouk, Acting President of the University and Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, said that the Faculty of Law is one of the oldest Facultys of the University and it was called the Faculty of Greats. She expressed her happiness at being present among a large number of masters of law and the Faculty’s partners. She also thanked the Faculty administration represented by Prof. Muhammad Safi, Dean of the Faculty, and the Vice Deans of the Faculty, for the effort made throughout the previous academic year.

She pointed out that the Faculty of Law was the first to conclude an agreement to grant a double degree with the University of Lyon 3 since 2000, which the university later adopted to conclude many agreements to grant a double degree to its students. Her Excellency also praised the luminous history of graduates of the Faculty of Law, Ain Shams University, who gave our country more It includes 20 ministers, 18 governors, and the Speaker of the House of Representatives, along with a large number of members of the House of Representatives, in addition to many leaders and statesmen in various legislative and executive bodies in our dear Egypt.

Her Excellency also congratulated the students' parents and students on their graduation, wishing them a bright future, with her confidence in their ability to shoulder their responsibilities in the coming period.

Prof. Muhammad Safi, Dean of the Faculty, welcomed the Faculty’s partners and its senior guests, including ministers, university professors, ambassadors, members of judicial bodies, and army and police personnel, noting that this is the second year in a row that the Faculty, in cooperation with the University’s Alumni Association, is keen to hold this grand ceremony as an expression of our great pride in our graduates. Those who spent four years in Faculty mean a lot to them, and today they stand on the threshold of a new stage, armed with the education and knowledge they have received, the skills and experience they have acquired, and the abilities and capabilities they possess that will undoubtedly enable them to compete in the labor markets that give weight to Faculty graduates. large; Pointing out that Faculty graduates hold the highest legal, judicial, executive and legislative positions.

His Excellency also extended his thanks and appreciation to Prof. Mahmoud El-Metini, the former President of the University, who paid great attention to the Faculty of Law over the course of four years, as the Faculty was able to develop the infrastructure and education, weave distinguished internal and international relations and partnerships, and create a conducive work environment, and also the Representatives, Professor Dr. Ghada Farouk, Acting President of the University, Professor Dr. Abdel Fattah Saud, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, and Professor Dr. Muhammad Ayman Saleh, former Vice President of the University for Postgraduate Studies and Research Affairs, as well as distinguished professors who have contributed over many years to providing abundant useful knowledge, And preserving values and traditions that are passed down from generation to generation until the Faculty of Law at Ain Shams University has become a beacon of knowledge and a destination for scholars and researchers.

Our ancient college, which was established in the year one thousand nine hundred and fifty with the establishment of Ain Shams University itself, is determined, with the support of all partners, to continue the development and reform plans in order to preserve its position and reputation that has been built over many decades, and we pledge to you that we will take it to a broader and more comprehensive expanse of development and reform to reach We deserve a regional and global position, and there is no doubt that our efforts in this direction would not have been fruitful except thanks to the support of all of you, the support of the university administration, and the sincere relevant national bodies.

At the conclusion of his speech, Prof. Muhammad Safi said that the students should arm themselves with knowledge, work, and diligence alone, self-reliance, self-denial, sacrifice, altruism, and readiness to face all challenges with tireless determination and unyielding resolve. Prof. Reem Al-Kabariti, Director of Alumni Associations at Ain Shams University, said that the idea of creating links for university graduates came with the aim of establishing an official entity for university graduates in order to enhance communication with university graduates through meetings and community services for graduates, enhancing the feeling of loyalty and belonging towards the university through qualification for the labor market and helping the graduate to find opportunities. He worked according to the actual needs of the labor market, by holding free qualifying training courses for graduates in coordination with the university’s employment center, in addition to enhancing the university’s image at the local and global community levels, which helps raise the university’s global ranking.

Her Excellency added that the Alumni Association also displays the success stories of the university’s pioneers and graduates so that they can serve as role models for young graduates, in addition to holding employment forums to provide job opportunities, which are held twice a year in cooperation with the Employment Center, in addition to awards for graduates’ achievements in cooperation with the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship.

Her Excellency also indicated that free subscriptions and cards would be offered to all graduates for a period of one year from the date of graduation to give graduates the opportunity to learn about the association’s services.

The ceremony witnessed the honoring of a group of graduates of the faculty and its academic partners, including Counselor Musaad Abdul Maqsoud, Chairman of the State Litigation Authority, Major General Dr. Hani Abu Al-Makarem, President of the Police Academy, His Excellency Sheikh Ahmed bin Nasser Al-Nuaimi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al-Buraimi University College in the sisterly Sultanate of Oman, and Professor Dr. Yasser Fouad, Dean of the College.

The ceremony also witnessed a playing performance by Dr. Marwa Abdel Moneim, Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Specific Education, and singing show by the faculty choir.
