Nomination for the King Faisal Prize 2025 is now available

The General Secretariat of the King Faisal Prize announced the opening of nominations for the forty-seventh session, 2025, in the five branches of the award. The King Faisal Award is the second largest international award after the Nobel Prize, and its total prizes reach one million dollars annually distributed among five branches.

Prof. Abdul-Aziz Al-Sabil, Secretary-General of the King Faisal Award, said that the award committees determine a scientific topic for each award every year, and that the topics of this session will include the Islamic Studies Award: “which dealt with the antiquities of the Arabian Peninsula,” and the Arabic Language and Literature Award: “studies that dealt with identity in Arabic Literature,” the Medicine Prize: “Cellular Therapy,” and the Science Prize: “Physics.” As for the Service to Islam Award, it is an appreciation award given to those who have a pioneering role in serving Islam and Muslims, intellectually, scientifically, and socially, through various works, various activities, programs, and projects that have an impact on the Muslim community.

Deadline for submitting approved nomination papers: March 31, 2024
