The Faculty of Law, Ain Shams University, holds its annual international conference on the fourth and fifth of November at the college on the subject of “Legal and Economic Challenges and Prospects for Artificial Intelligence,” under the patronage of Counselor Omar Marwan, Minister of Justice, Prof. Mohamed Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Prof. Ghada Farouk, Acting President of the University, Prof. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President of the University, and Prof. Muhammad Safi, Dean of the Faculty.
The conference is attended by researchers from the University of Lyon (3) in France, Queen Mary University in England, the University of Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates, the International Penal Law Society, the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law, the International Committee of the Red Cross, and various Egyptian universities.
The sessions will be chaired by Ambassador Moushira Khattab, President of the National Council for Human Rights and former Minister of Family and Population, Counselor Mohamed Abdel Mohsen, Vice President of the Court of Cassation and President of the Egyptian Judges Club, Major General Yasser Ahmed Abbas, Vice President of the General Authority for Investment and Free Zones, and Prof. Atta Al-Sunbati, Dean of the Faculty of Sharia and Law, Al-Azhar University in Cairo.
The invitation was also extended to the heads of judicial bodies, dignitaries among the college’s graduates, former university presidents, deans of the university’s faculties, and deans of Egyptian and Arab law faculties.
