The university president inspected the new biotechnology building in the Faculty of Science, in the presence of Prof. Muhammad Raga Al-Satohi, Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Iman Abdel Azim, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Amani Suleiman, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Community Service and Environmental Development.

The building includes 4 main floors, 3 laboratories for the Chemistry Department, two laboratories for the Biochemistry Department, two laboratories for the Microbiology Department, computer teachers affiliated with the Computer Science Division, rest rooms for students and faculty staff, teaching halls, research laboratories, and a laboratory for quantum chemistry computers and their applications. The laboratory is also scheduled to include a number of Modern computers equipped with modern software to suit the conduct of theoretical chemical experiments.

         
   
         

The tour also included an inspection of the new building of the Faculty of Computers and Information, and the university president listened to a detailed explanation from the project work team led by Engineer Mahmoud Othman, the project manager, in which he discussed the process of establishing the building, which was designed in accordance with international standard specifications and that it would be the first university government building with complete Egyptian implementation and design to obtain a certificate. (LEED) Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design, that is, leadership in energy and environmental design according to the most widely used green building classification in the world, which was developed by the US Green Building Council (USGBC), and is a globally recognized certificate for achieving sustainability and leadership.

         
   
         

The building is scheduled to be completed within two years. The building includes 13 laboratories and a lecture hall and will be connected to the old building.

The university president's inspection tour comes after his Excellency opened the university's college products marketing exhibition in the presence of deans and deans of the colleges participating in the exhibition and a group of faculty members and administrators.
