Under the patronage of Prof. Ghada Farouk, Acting President of Ain Shams University, and Prof. Mohamed Safi, Dean of the Faculty of Law, the Faculty will organize for the second year in a row a workshop in cooperation with the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL) on “Amending the Bankruptcy and Restructuring Law and its Impact on Attracting Foreign investments,” on Tuesday, October 3rd.
This event aims to increase awareness of the importance of encouraging investment by providing a suitable climate for national and foreign companies in the various stages of investment activity, whether when entering the market, continuing in it, or even at the stage of exiting it. A number of university professors, judges, practitioners, researchers, and government officials participate in this important event, to discuss the efficiency of the bankruptcy system and its impact on the investment climate.
The organization of this event comes in partnership between the faculty and the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law, about a month before they partner together in organizing the faculty’s annual international conference on the legal and economic challenges of artificial intelligence, which will be held on the fourth and fifth of next November, also in partnership with a number of prestigious foreign universities.
The Dean of the Faculty extends his sincere thanks and appreciation to Prof. Yassin Al-Shazly, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research, and Dr. Ahmed Khalifa, Director of the International Cooperation Office at the Faculty, for their efforts in preparing to organize this distinguished event.
