In the framework of the preparations of Ain Shams University for the start of the new academic year 2019/2020, Prof. Abdel Fattah Saud, Vice President for Education and Students Affairs affirmed that Ain Shams University is proceeding according to the strategy of continuous development, under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El Metini who said that all services provided to students are similar to those offered in various international universities and take into account the requirements of students during their stay at the university during the study months as well as the possibility of development and renewal and the most comprehensive during the summer vacation.
The university cities sector witnessed a boom in the development of more than 70% of accommodation, halls, stadiums, gymnasiums, table tennis and the restaurant. "The sector launched during the last half-year vacation during which a number of volunteer students participated in beautifying and decorating the university city, as well as developing the nutrition system provided to students according to food safety standards according to the vision adopted by the sector to develop the nutrition sector which depends on an effective control system to include N food quality and safety, based on the scientific foundations so as to promote and protect public health to reach the highest level of safety and overall quality food product offered by the university.
The development plan also included: modernizing medical surveillance, medical services for students, social solidarity system, and maintaining and renovating classrooms and providing them with the necessary educational means.
As for the care of people with special needs, Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saud stressed that all support and care are provided to those with special needs and their admission to the University City. The university is in the process of opening a center for people with special needs that will integrate them with their peers and overcome all obstacles.
He also stressed the provision of all support for student artistic, cultural and sports activities, pointing to the development and renovation of the university youth welfare theater, which is held on many student competitions in the fields of theater, singing and music playing.
Mr. Ibrahim Saeed, supervisor of the university cities sector, added that all the maintenance works are being completed in the cities.
