Within the framework of raising efficiency, and developing the skills and capabilities of members of the administrative staff at the Faculty of Arts, Ain Shams University, the faculty organizes a group of free workshops for members of the administrative staff and faculty employees, under the auspices of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of the University, Prof. Hanan Kamel, Dean of the Faculty, under the supervision of Dr. Howaida Abdel Hamid, Director of the Faculty’s Quality Assurance and Accreditation Unit, Dr. Bahaa Ibrahim Abdel Hafez, Assistant Professor, at the Department of Libraries and Information.
The workshops, which last for 4 days, include (skills for using the Word text editing program - professional etiquette and ethics - skills for dealing with the public - spreading awareness of the culture of quality - crisis and disaster management), and each workshop lasts 3 hours, from 10 am to 1 pm, during the working hours, the trainee will be evaluated at the end of the workshop and will receive a certificate of attendance at the workshop.
Prof. Hanan Kamel, Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Hanan Salem, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, Dr. Howaida Abdel Hamid, Director of the Quality Assurance and Accreditation Unit, Dr. Mahmoud Tariq, lecturer in the Department of Libraries and Information Systems, Mr. Hisham Gomaa, Director of the Civil Defense Unit, gave lectures at the workshops.
The workshops, which are held daily during this week, began with a workshop entitled: “Skills for Using the Word Text Editing Program,” presented by Dr. Mahmoud Tariq, Lecturer in the Department of Libraries and Information Systems. The workshop witnessed a large turnout from members of the administrative staff and employees.
