The ASU Career Center organizes a field visit to the Linah Farms factory

The ASU Career Center at Ain Shams University organized a field visit to the Linah Farms factory on Monday, February 5, 2024, under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, and Prof. Ghada Farouk, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and the supervision of Dr. Ahmed Abdel Aziz. Director of the ASU Career Center. Several students from the Faculty of Agriculture participated in the visit.

This field visit comes to work on improving the skills of the students of the Faculty of Agriculture and developing their practical skills, as the students of the Faculty of Agriculture of Ain Shams University learned about the latest methods of production, packaging, and storage of agricultural crops.

The students toured the various sections of the factory to understand the latest methods of storing and receiving raw materials necessary for production and industry, in addition to understanding the local market standards and standards for storage, shipping, and exporting crops abroad.

Through the aspect of learning through experience, the Center works to develop the capabilities and skills of our university students in a practical way that enables them to learn about the requirements of the labor market and keep up with them through various activities, most notably field visits represented by cadres in the industry, which enable them to gain insights into various fields of work and jobs.
