The Faculty of Mass of Communication wins two awards at the 8th Shorouk Festival for Media Student Creativity

Under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Ghada Farouk, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, Prof. Hanan Kamel, Dean of the Faculty of Arts, Prof. Heba Shaheen, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Mass of Communication, The Department of Communication and Media Sciences won two awards for students’ graduation projects, this occurred during the department’s participation in the eighth Shorouk Festival for Media Student Creativity, which is organized by the Higher Institute of Media at the Shorouk Academy at the Cairo Opera House, under the patronage of Mrs. Yasmine Khamis and Mr. Farida Khamis, in the presence of Major General Dr. Ahmed Abdel Rahim, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al-Shorouk Academy, Prof. Gouda Ghanem, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors, Prof. Soheir Saleh, Dean of the International Higher Institute for Media at Shorouk Academy, and Prof. Elham Younes, the institute’s deputy director, and a number of media figures and public figures.

The Department of Communication and Media Sciences, under the supervision of Dr. Mai Hamza, supervisor of the department and assistant professor at the Faculty of Mass Communication, won first place for the film “Oh Joy, Never Done” for the operetta and songs competition; The “Snooze” project also won second place in the short narrative films competition for radio and television projects, under the supervision of Dr. Engy Fathi, Lecturer at the Faculty of Mass Communication, and Mrs. Engy Magdy, Assistant Lecturer at the Faculty of Mass Communication, and Mrs. Israa Ramadan, teaching assistant at the Faculty.
