A group of deaf, mute, and hard of hearing students at the Faculty of Specific Education, at Ain Shams University, participated in the Employment Fair and Professional Description Conference in the Sports Field in Ismailia Governorate, which was organized by the General Syndicate of Sports Professions, as part of a high-level delegation headed by Prof. Osama Al-Sayed Mustafa, Dean of the Faculty, and Prof. Dalia Hussein Fahmy, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Graduate Studies and Research.
The students presented a variety of plastic photography, and displayed the development of the students’ skills as beginners in color processing and technical performance to produce three-dimensional works of elements of silent nature and heritage, after their visit to the Al-Khayamiya area and Al-Mu’izz Street, which is full of richness and fragrant history.
The conference aims to raise the level of people with Special Needs athletically, encourage them to practice sports, and integrate them into society, especially since they have won many awards and medals in previous Paralympic tournaments. The conference included several seminars on the political leadership’s interest in people of determination and their integration into society through many of their own activities and others in which they participate. As an essential element in society, in addition to workshops that are concerned with developing the sporting aspect of participants and the role of colleges of education in various universities and sports unions in transferring their experiences to people of determination through the Paralympic Committee and participating in their sporting events.
Dr. Fahd bin Nayef Al-Faqeer, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Riyadh Club for People with Disabilities, Dr. Hossam El-Din Mostafa, Chairman of the Egyptian Paralympic Committee, Mr. Imad Ramadan, Treasurer of the Egyptian Paralympic Committee, members of the Board of Directors of the General Syndicate for Sports Professions, a group of deans and professors of faculties of physical education in the Arab Republic of Egypt, members of the sub-union councils in the governorates, Paralympic champions, and a group of executive leaders and public, sports and media workers in Egypt, witnessed the conference.
On the sidelines of the conference, the Head of the Sports Professions Syndicate gave special honors to the winners of the Dr. Fahd bin Nayef Al-Faqir Competition for Artistic Creativity from the students of the Faculty of Specific Education, at Ain Shams University, from the deaf and hard of hearing category.
