Under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zein El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Hanan Kamel, Dean of the Faculty of Arts, and under the supervision of Prof. Mohamed Ibrahim, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Hanan Kamel, accompanied by the vice deans, attended the annual bazaar of the Faculty of Arts Student Union, which was organized by the “Aswan Family” for the fourth year in a row.
The bazaar included many diverse works of art, including oil paintings and paintings using charcoal, dry erase, lead, and other various materials, which varied between portraits, natural and heritage landscapes, artistic paintings specific to Egyptian folklore and the Egyptian environment, as well as paintings expressing aspects of the celebration of the month of Ramadan, as well as some children’s toys made of crochet. A collection of handicrafts, especially handbags made of beads and crochet, which were distinguished by their high quality and sophisticated taste. The exhibition also included a number of paintings made of wood and glass, in addition to a number of handmade accessories.
The bazaar was distinguished by the abundance, diversity, and quality of the exhibits. The bazaar was admired by the attendees, and the submitted works are being evaluated by a technical committee that includes an elite group of relevant faculty members to choose the best submitted works.
