Within the framework of fruitful cooperation between the faculties of Ain Shams University, the Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs Sector at the Faculty of Business and the Faculty of Graduate Studies for Childhood organized a “celebration on the occasion of Mother’s Day” for mothers and their children who attend the Center of Children with Special Needs of the Faculty of Graduate Studies for Childhood at Ain Shams University, in the garden.
The celebration was held under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zein El-Abedeen, President of Shams University, Prof. Ghada Farouk, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, Prof. Khaled Qadri, Dean of the Faculty of Business, and Prof. Howaida Al-Gebali, Dean of the Faculty of Graduate Studies for Childhood.
The students from the Faculty of Business participated in the celebration by providing entertainment activities for children and distributing many various games, balloons, and other gifts, in addition to providing some enrichment activities suitable for different disabilities.
On the sidelines of the celebration, exemplary mothers were honored, and Mother’s Day was specifically chosen to honor this category of mothers of children with special needs because they suffered and endured a lot to care for their children and made strenuous efforts to care for their children and commit to treatment and periodic rehabilitation sessions specified for their children out of faith. They stressed the importance of this in continuous improvement, which qualifies them to rely on themselves and thus integrate into society.
The celebration was supervised and organized by Prof. Randa Kamal, Vice Dean of the Graduate School of Childhood Studies for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, Prof. Mohamed Morsi, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Business for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, in cooperation with Prof. Ahmed Al-Kahki, Director of the Center for the Care of Children with Special Needs, Prof. Hanan Hussein, Director of the Support Unit for Students with Special Abilities at the Faculty of Business.
