The annual Iftar of the Faculty of Arts Student Union and the Students for Egypt family at the faculty

The Student Union of the Faculty of Arts, Ain Shams University, in cooperation with the Students for Egypt family at the faculty, held the annual breakfast ceremony, under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zein El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Hanan Kamel Metwally, Dean of the Faculty of Arts, under the supervision of Prof. Mohamed Ibrahim Hassan, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Education and Student Affairs.

The ceremony witnessed several artistic and entertainment segments, which were prepared and organized by male and female students of the Faculty of Arts and Youth Welfare. After eating breakfast and performing the Maghrib prayer, the segments began with a Ramadan story, during which one of the students gave a historical overview of the origin of some Ramadan sweets (Qatayef story).

This segment was followed by an artistic show of the Tanoura dance, with which male and female students interacted greatly. Then came the Faculty of Arts choral segment, which was led by Maestro Marwan Al-Ghoul, during which the choir performed several songs from our authentic Egyptian heritage that are linked to the spiritual atmosphere of the blessed month of Ramadan.

         
   
         

At the end of the ceremony, The Dean of the Faculty expressed her happiness in being with the male and female students of the faculty and sharing their joy in this celebration. She also extended her thanks and appreciation to everyone who contributed to directing this celebration in this way, which reflects the spirit of brotherhood, familiarity, and interconnectedness among all members of the faculty.

In the speech delivered by Prof. Mohamed Ibrahim expressed, he his sincere gratitude to the university and faculty for the unlimited support they provide to male and female students at various levels and in all scientific, educational, pedagogical, health and entertainment fields. He also thanked and appreciated the members, committees, and families of the Ain Shams University Student Union (SUFA) for organizing events with efficiency, discipline, and excellence. Prof. Mohamed Ibrahim thanked the Faculty’s Youth Welfare Department for their tireless efforts in absorbing the energies and abilities of young people and directing them to what will benefit them.

For his part, Prof. Hatem Rabie thanked His Excellency the Dean of the Faculty for supporting all activities in the faculty. He also thanked all those organizing this distinguished annual ceremony and all the participating faculty members.
