In a first of its kind at the Faculty of Law, at Ain Shams University, five fourth-year students received an Eiffel “Bourse” scholarship to study for a master’s degree in France. It is a scholarship provided by the French government to enable French higher education institutions to attract the best foreign students to enroll in master’s and doctoral programs. Under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of the University, Prof. Muhammad Safi, Dean of the Faculty of Law.
The Eiffel Scholarship is one of the best scholarships offered by the State of France, as it is a fully funded competitive scholarship for which students from all over the world apply to study a master’s or doctorate in all academic disciplines, and five students from the French section obtained it, reflects the ability of faculty students to compete at the global level.
This was done by Prof. Muhammad Safi, Dean of the Faculty, and the Vice Deans of the Faculty extend their sincere congratulations to the students and to the administration of the French Department at the Faculty for obtaining the scholarship, wishing them continued success and prosperity. His Excellency the Dean also extends his thanks to Prof. Noura Issa, Director of the French Department at the Faculty, and Dr. Shahinaz Atlam, Assistant Director, and Assistant Lecturer Nada Al-Jamal for the distinguished support provided to the students, which resulted in this number of them receiving an Eiffel scholarship for the first time in the history of the department.
