The Vice President of Ain Shams University inspects the development work at Zafaran Palace

Within the framework of interest in following up on the development and modernization work carried out by the university in accordance with the comprehensive plan developed by the university administration to raise the efficiency of the infrastructure in various parts of the university.

Prof. Ghada Farouk, Vice President of Ain Shams University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, went in an exploration tour of the Zafaran Palace, the administrative headquarters of the university, accompanied by Prof. Yasser Megahid, Director of the Engineering Consultation Center at the University, and a group of engineering management engineers at the University

The tour began with a follow-up by Dr. Ghada Farouk who reviewed the progress of development work at the Zafaran Palace, as Her Excellency inspected all the palace halls and three floors.

She stressed that the development and modernization processes are carried out according to the latest means and modern systems and in accordance with international standards and Ain Shams University’s keenness on its societal role in preserving antiquities, pointing out that the Saffron Palace development project is one of the huge projects implemented by the university, in contrast to the new facilities being done within the university.

This comes in parallel with the development efforts the Egyptian state is witnessing in all sectors of the state.

Prof. Yasser Megahid, during the tour, highlighted the efforts of the university leadership in replacing, renovating and developing the university’s educational buildings, as well as renovating the ancient Saffron Palace, explaining that the university’s vision for development takes place through the implementation of many projects, and is based on comprehensive development in all sectors.
