Under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zein El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Ghada Farouk, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, Prof. Hanan Kamel Metwally, Dean of the Faculty of Arts, under the supervision of Prof. Hatem Rabie, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Postgraduate Studies and Research, The Human Development and Self-Development Unit at the Faculty of Arts organized a symposium entitled “Successful Personality Skills,” in which Dr. Islam Omara, Director of the Human Development and Self-Development Unit, lectured.
The symposium touched on the skill of setting goals and how to formulate them in an effective manner. The idea of developing goals was also explained using reinforcement theory, where the focus was on promoting positive behaviors and providing incentives to achieve goals.
It also shed light on how to face the difficulties of professional life and deal with challenges effectively, clarifying the importance of behavioral discipline as a basis for success, and how to apply it in professional life to achieve stability and excellence.
In order to achieve personal and professional success, the symposium stressed the importance of getting rid of negative and prevailing habits, striving towards developing positive ideas and actions, and encouraging participants to strive towards success at the level of ideas and actions by stimulating creative thinking and innovation in their fields of work.
