Under the chairmanship of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, the Education and Student Affairs Sector Council holds its sixth session
The Education and Student Affairs Sector Council at Ain Shams University, headed by Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of the University, held its sixth session today, Tuesday, May 14. The Council discussed a number of topics, including approving the minutes of the previous session held on April 23, 2024, as well as approving the minutes of the Standing Committee at its session held on May 8, 2024.
   
   

The Council also reviewed the report on what was accomplished regarding cooperation between Ain Shams University and the Secured and Smart Documents Complex, and noted the university’s completion of establishing the biometric data unit at the examination building headquarters.

We also take note of the letter received from the Central Administration of Cultural Relations, Department of Agreements and Cultural Exchange, to the Supreme Council of Universities from the Embassy of Japan in the Arab Republic of Egypt regarding the Japanese government’s announcement to provide “grants for university study in Japan for the year 2025 for Egyptian students who wish to complete their university studies in Japan.”

The Council also approved the contents of the report of the committee formed to study the mechanism for implementing the clemency rules starting from the academic year 2024/2025 and to authorize Prof. President of the University, to take the necessary measures in this regard.
