Sunday, March 10th... A symposium on “The Status of Egyptian Women Through the Ages” at Ain Shams University

The Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs Sector at Ain Shams University, in cooperation with the Faculty of Archeology and the National Council for Women, Cairo Branch, is organizing a symposium on “The Status of Egyptian Women Throughout the Ages,” within the framework of the university’s cultural season, sponsored by Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zein El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, and Prof. Ghada Farouk, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and Prof. Hossam Tantawi, Dean of the Faculty of Archaeology, will be held next Sunday, March 10th, in the Grand Celebration Hall next to the Faculty of Pharmacy at 12 pm.

The seminar will be organized by Prof. Gehan Ragab, Advisor to the Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs and Coordination of Prof. Bassem Mohamed, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Archaeology for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, under the administrative supervision of Major General Hossam El-Sherbiny, Assistant Secretary of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, with the participation of military education students at the university.

The symposium is hosted by Mr. Ghada Shalaby, Deputy Minister of Tourism and Antiquities for Tourism Affairs, and Prof. Aida Nassif, Senator, and Dr. Rabab Jeddah, teacher of ancient Egyptian antiquities, and Dr. Rania Zidane, teacher of Greek and Roman antiquities, and Dr. Noura Hussein, lecturer of Coptic and Islamic arts and antiquities
