Ain Shams University students won 20 first-place awards in the 12 Ibdaa Festival after a strong competition that extended for nearly three months with male and female students from various Egyptian universities and institutes.
This came during the closing ceremony of the Creativity Festival in its 12th edition in the literary, scientific and artistic fields, for students of universities, higher institutes, and government and private academies, which was held under the patronage of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, and organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Central Administration for Youth Development, the General Administration. For cultural and artistic programs” in the presence of Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth and Sports, and an elite group of writers, public figures, media professionals and artists.
Ain Shams University’s participation came under the auspices of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zein Al-Abedeen, President of the University, who expressed his happiness at being with the creative male and female students from Egyptian universities, stressing his pride that Ain Shams University is one of the universities participating in this great event...the largest event at the level of Egyptian universities, the 12th Creativity Festival.
His Excellency also praised the talented students who, through their participation in the Ibdaa Competition, demonstrated their ability to art and creativity, and their professionalism in performance, which confirms the effective role that student activities provide in enriching art and culture and enhances the role of universities in the movement of thought and development that stems from the belief of Ain Shams University to play its pivotal role in preparing a generation capable of advancing construction and development, and in line with the state’s plan to empower youth and maximize their role. This is why the university administration was keen to integrate students into various cultural, sports, scientific, social, artistic, and other activities: with the aim of creating a conscious generation capable of fighting the battle of life through... He possesses balanced skills and personality traits that combine the knowledge obtained from classrooms and laboratories, and life experiences gained from participating in various university activities and events, which are a miniature model of life outside the university walls.
His Excellency also praised the effective role provided by the Education and Student Affairs Sector in supporting talented students in the field of student activities, which shined this year and resulted in this huge number of awards, which reached 20 awards at the festival this year.
The Ain Shams University awards were as follows in the field of artistic activity, in which the student Muhammad Yasser Mahmoud Abdel Fattah won first place in the field of individual religious singing, the student Louay Ahmed Ali Sami Ali won first place in performing a solo musical theater, and the student Judy Muhammad Ashraf Muhammad won first place in performing a musical theater. Individual student Mahmoud Tawfiq Mahmoud Abdel Moneim received the award for the best lighting for an individual musical theater, and the student Radwa Ahmed Maghawri Afifi received the award for the best costume for an individual musical theater, while the student Munadil Antar Jumah Abu Al-Yazid received the award for the best folk arts design.
The student Rodina Medhat Mahmoud received the award for the best show performer, while the student Muhammad Abdel Raouf Ahmed Abdel Shafi received the award for the best work of student creativity in group singing.
The student Abdullah Muhammad Omar Montaser won first place in specialized solo playing, the student Jannah Osama Abdel Aziz Abdul Hamid won first place in specialized solo acting, the student Ahmed Fathi Taha Muhammad won first place in amateur solo acting, and the student Mohamed Reda Mohamed Mohamed won first place in directing. The chanting team also won first place for group chanting, the specialist theater team won third place, while the group playing team and the folk arts team won first place, while the musical theater team won second place.
The result of the scientific competition was that the student Khaled Ayman Salah Ahmed and the student Ahmed Mahmoud Al-Metwally won the Scientific Innovations Award “Cybersecurity,” while the student Hossam Abdel Nabi Ahmed Muhammad, the student Muhammad Alaa El-Din Abdel Rahim, and the student Asmaa Muhammad Ali Sukkar won the Scientific Innovations Award “Engineering Innovations.”
The student Noura Mohamed Ahmed Ayed won the colloquial poetry award in the field of cultural activity.
