Under the auspices of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Ghada Farouk, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Prof. Amani Osama Kamel, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, the Faculty of Pharmacy participates in the activities of the third edition of the African Medical Exhibition, "Africa Health Excon".
The Egyptian Authority for Unified Procurement, Medical Supply and the Management of Medical Technology announced the launch of the third edition of the African Medical Exhibition "Africa Health Excon", under the slogan "Your gate towards innovation and trade", which will be held under the patronage and presence of President Abdel Fattah El -Sisi, on the third of next June.
On the sidelines of the conference, the Faculty of Pharmacy is organizing a workshop entitled (Start Your Business) on Tuesday, May 21, and the workshop will continue for 4 hours from 11 am to 2 pm at the Faculty.
The workshop aims to provide participants with basic skills and knowledge of entrepreneurship, including understanding basic concepts, analyzing job opportunities, and obtaining financing and strategic planning, through a simplified training in which the beneficiaries know how to design a business model for the start of the job and how to calculate the value of the project in various fields and how to start a startup and identify the principles of entrepreneurship.
Dr. Islam Adly, Director of Student Activities at the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center (ASU-IHub) and a teacher of medical insect science at the Faculty of Science, at Ain Shams University, gave a lecture at the workshop, as a representative of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center, ASU-IHUB, headed by Dr. Wiam Mahmoud, Executive Director of the Center.
