Ain Shams University advances 139 places in the U. S. NEWS rankings to rank 401 globally

for this year 2024, and the results of the classification showed that Ain Shams University is ranked (401) globally, with an advance of 139 places compared to last year.

This achievement reflects the university’s continuous efforts to enhance the quality of education and scientific research and increase its funding and quality of research, which has given it a greater opportunity to publish in high-impact journals.

Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of the University, expressed his happiness with this progress, stressing that the University will continue to work hard to maintain this momentum and achieve further progress in future global rankings.

It is noteworthy that the U. S. News Ranking included institutions from 104 countries, and included 2,271 institutions. This year, the ranking included among its selection criteria the best (250 universities) in the results of the Clarivate database, as well as the institutions that were able to achieve the minimum, which is (1,250) published research papers. At least during the years (2018-2022).

The U. S. News classification is one of the most important international ranking that is primarily concerned with scientific research published internationally. The classification is based on several criteria, primarily based on evaluating the academic research of universities and their global and regional reputation, and is not limited to study programs.
