The opening of applying for the fifth edition of the Hideyo Noguchi Africa Prize in the field of infectious diseases and public health promotion in Africa
The Hideyo Noguchi Africa Prize in Japan in the field of infectious diseases and public health promotion in Africa is now open for applying on the sidelines of the Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD 9) scheduled to be held in Yokohama, Japan, 2025.
The Hideyo Noguchi Africa Prize aims to honor individuals who have made outstanding achievements in the fields of medical research and medical services to combat infectious and other diseases in Africa, contributing to the health and well-being of the African people and humanity as a whole.
The prize consists of two categories: Medical Research, which honors one or more individuals, and Medical Services, which honors one or more individuals and one or more institutions.
