In line with the Egyptian state’s vision towards developing youth skills to keep pace with the needs of the local and international labor market, Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, and Mr. Ahmed El-Ebiary, Founder of Intellect Company, signed a Memorandum of Understanding between the university, represented by the ASU Career Center affiliated with the Innovation and Training Sector at the university, and Intellect Training Company, with the aim of cooperation in the fields of job qualification, employment and training.
The company will also provide qualified trainers to provide career guidance sessions for students and graduates of Ain Shams University, and the ASU Career Center will coordinate all programs that will be held.
The two parties agreed to cooperate jointly in the activities and programs of job qualification for students and graduates, and to cooperate in various events and job fairs, in addition to Intellect Company providing career guidance and counseling programs for students and graduates of Ain Shams University to contribute to supporting them in making career decisions that are consistent with their skills and the needs of the labor market, without any financial compensation from the university.
The signing ceremony was witnessed from Ain Shams University by Prof. Shahira Samir, Executive Director of the International Relations and Academic Collaboration Sector, Prof. Nevin Assem, CEO of the Innovation and Training Sector, Dr. Ahmed Abdel Aziz, Director of the ASU Career Center, and from Intellect Training Company, Mr. Amr Habib, Marketing Consultant, and Ms. Rowan El-Sayed.
It is worth mentioning that Intellect Training Company is currently playing an active role in training university students enrolled in the Up Skills Program, which was launched on July 14th with the aim of qualifying 1,500 students and graduates of Ain Shams University over a period of three months to become effective cadres in the labor market and provide them with career guidance to determine their correct career path in the labor market; The program also aims to qualify a number of students with design thinking techniques and entrepreneurship skills and develop the skills of teaching assistants at the university and qualify them to participate in all activities of the innovation and training sector.
