The Vice President of Ain Shams University receives a delegation from the National Council for Higher Education in the Republic of Malawi

Prof. Ghada Farouk, Vice President of Ain Shams University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs and Acting Vice President of the University for Graduate Studies and Research, received a delegation of quality experts from the Republic of Malawi (National Council for Higher Education NCHE). This is within the framework of mutual cooperation between the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education and international and global quality assurance bodies, and within the framework of mutual cooperation between the Authority and Egyptian universities.

The meeting was attended by Prof. Ragia Taha, Vice President of the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education for Al-Azhar Education, Prof. Savinaz Al-Habashi, General Supervisor of the Quality and Accreditation File at Ain Shams University, and Prof. Miriam Ayyad, Director of the Quality Assurance and Accreditation Center at the University.

         
   
         

During the meeting, Prof. Ghada Farouk welcomed the delegation, expressing her happiness with the increase in the number of international experts, pointing out the university administration’s keenness to exchange international expertise and interest in achieving quality and accreditation standards in a practical manner that supports the educational system, not only standards for obtaining accreditation certificates and developing the quality of education and upgrading it to keep pace with the latest developments and continuous modernization.

Her Excellency also reviewed the efforts of a number of accredited university faculties and a number of distinguished internationally accredited programs. Following the meeting, the delegation visited the University’s Quality Assurance and Accreditation Center, during which Prof. Miriam Ayyad gave a presentation in which she reviewed the tasks of the University’s Quality Assurance and Accreditation Center, its units, and its work strategies. She stressed her happiness with the visit and cooperation with the delegation and providing any required technical support.
