President of Ain Shams University and Saudi Ambassador discuss the conditions of international students

Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El- Metini, President of the University, met with Ambassador Osama bin Ahmed Nakli, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Egypt, at the headquarters of the Saffron Palace, where the two sides discussed aspects of joint cooperation in the presence of Prof. Dr. Khalid Al-Nami, Saudi Cultural Attaché and Dr. Abdullah Al-Hamad, Head of Universities Department, Saudi Cultural Attaché.

The President of the University, the Saudi Ambassador and his delegation also met with a group of Saudi students coming to study at Ain Shams University.

The Saudi Ambassador affirmed his pride in his second homeland Egypt, praising Ain Shams University as an ancient educational edifice at the level of the Arab world as a whole with an honorable international reputation.

Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini said that the university plays a great role not only in education and scientific research, but also in changing the thinking and developing the personality of the student to keep pace with and accommodate the variables around him in various fields locally and internationally.

He pointed out that the university study stage is full of many experiences, which requires the need to invest this stage and benefit from it as much as possible, and not to stand at any obstacles or problems because they will not parallel what they will face in the future, as it will shape the characteristics and characteristics of their personalities in the future.

He added that the university is keen to provide all means of support and care for its children students, especially expatriates to reduce their sense of alienation, pointing out that the expatriate students are ambassadors of Ain Shams University in their countries and anywhere in the world.

The two sides listened to the views and demands of the students, stressing that there is full keenness to present their interests on the return of things and routine procedures.
