Ain Shams University has announced a prestigious scientific achievement by Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdel Hadi El-Adawy, Professor of Theoretical Physics at the Faculty of Education, as he was awarded the Doctor of Science (D. Sc.) degree from Cairo University on September 25, 2024. Prof. Al-Adawi had previously earned his first PhD in 1973 from the Moscow Institute of Power Engineering.
This distinguished achievement by Prof. El-Adawy adds to his rich scientific career. He has made significant contributions through his research published in renowned international journals. Additionally, he was awarded the Ain Shams University Appreciation Award in 2019 in recognition of his outstanding achievements in the field of theoretical physics.
Throughout the years, he has held several leadership positions, including Head of the Physics Department in 1993 and Vice Dean of the Faculty of Education for Community Service and Environmental Development in 1997. His scientific school continues to be a beacon for researchers in theoretical physics, as he continues to publish influential research, which contributed to his receiving the Doctor of Science degree.
On this occasion, Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of the University, Prof. Ghada Farouk, Acting Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, and the University Awards Office extend their heartfelt congratulations to Prof. El-Adawy on this remarkable achievement, which elevates the university's stature and enhances its academic and research presence.
