The opening of the Egyptian Ambulance Pharmacies branch on the campus of Ain Shams University

In line with the Egyptian state's vision to support the health sector and enhance the provision of medicine and its access to the Egyptian citizen with ease and convenience, Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, today opened a branch of the Egyptian Ambulance Pharmacies on the campus of Ain Shams University 2, as part of the university's efforts to enhance health services provided to all members of the university community under an integrated strategy to provide medical services with efficiency and high quality.

         
   
         

During the opening, Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen stressed that this step reflects the university administration's continuous keenness to improve the quality of healthcare on campus and provide medical services at the highest level, meeting the needs of the university community for medicines and medical supplies in an easy and effective manner.

He added that the university is working to develop more health facilities, within a comprehensive vision aimed at providing an integrated educational and health environment.

         
   
         

The Egyptian Ambulance Pharmacies affiliated to the Egyptian Drug Trading Company are distinguished by providing a wide range of essential medicines and health supplies, in addition to providing medicines that are missing in the Egyptian market, and medicines for chronic diseases, in addition to providing integrated pharmaceutical services. The pharmacy will contribute to facilitating quick access to medicines and medical supplies for the university community, and the pharmacy also provides the dispensing of contract prescriptions for faculty staff and employees.

The opening was attended by Dr. Hani Lotfy, General Manager of Contracts at the Egyptian Company for Drug Trading, Prof. Howaida El-Gebali, Dean of the Faculty of Postgraduate Childhood Studies, Major General Ahmed Lashin, Secretary General of the University, Mr. Saeed Tarek, Director of the Medical Care Department, and a number of employees who expressed their happiness at the presence of a fully-fledged pharmacy on campus.
