A high-level delegation from Kyushu University in Japan visits Ain Shams University

Prof. Ghada Farouk, Vice President of Ain Shams University for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Acting Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, received a high-level delegation from Kyushu University in Japan, headed by Dr. Shoji Shimizu, Vice President of Kyushu University for International Affairs at the Institute of Asian and Oceanian Studies. The purpose of the visit was to explore ways to expand and invest in cooperation between the two universities in fields such as medicine, engineering, computer science, languages, literature, and dentistry.

Prof. Ghada Farouk highlighted the university's faculties and their specializations, she also spoke about the university, which comprises 20 faculties and institutes, with 250,000 students and 10,000 international students. She explained that Ain Shams University has many international agreements and partnerships, especially in Asia, noting that there has been previous collaboration with Kyushu University.

The meeting included an introduction to the various faculties of the university, as well as a presentation on Kyushu University in Japan.

The meeting was attended by Prof. Salwa Rashad, Dean of the Faculty of Al-Alsun, Prof. Nagwa Badr, Dean of the Faculty of Computer and Information Sciences, Prof. Hanan Kamel, Dean of the Faculty of Arts, Prof. Karim El-Battouti, Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, Prof. Shahira Samir, Executive Director of the International Relations and Academic Cooperation Sector, and several faculty staff.
