Under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, and Prof. Ghada Farouk, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Amani Osama Kamel, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, inaugurated the 11th edition of the Essential Oils Exhibition, in the presence of the Vice Deans, Prof. Omaima El-Dahshan, Head of the Department of Pharmacology and Founder of the Exhibition, in addition to professors from participating universities, with the participation of students from several Egyptian universities, including Ain Shams, 6th of October, Badr, Russian, and the New University for Technology and Information.

The exhibition witnessed wide student participation, during which they presented innovative projects that focused on the use of natural products to treat dental and gum diseases. The exhibition also included an awareness campaign to promote healthy habits and encourage Egyptian products, in addition to allocating spaces for small start-up companies to present inspiring models for students. On the sidelines of the exhibition, the third international scientific forum was held under the title:

“Unveil the Therapeutic Power of Essential Oils: A Natural Approach for Dental Diseases”

Under the supervision of Prof. Omaima Al-Dahshan, with the participation of Prof. Amani Osama Kamel, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Prof. Abdel Nasser Sinjab, former Vice President of Ain Shams University, and Prof. Nahed Mortada, former Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, in addition to researchers from Germany, Singapore, Turkey and Egypt, who discussed the latest research related to drugs and essential oils.

The event concluded with honoring the most prominent scientific research in the field of essential oils, in addition to honoring the participating universities and winning students in the exhibition, in addition to the sponsoring companies and organizers, in appreciation of their efforts in making the event a success.
