Based on the keenness of Ain Shams University, headed by Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, the President of the University on the importance of human capacity development, enhance individual competence and institutional excellence and contribute efficiently and effectively in the development and training of faculty members and workers, which contributes to the building and development of administrative systems, support and raise the efficiency of the administrative system. In cooperation with the National Institute of Management, the training arm of the Ministry of Planning, chaired by Prof. Dr. Sherifa Sherif, Ain Shams University organized a workshop for university leaders entitled How to build a successful team, team building work shop under the auspices of Minister of Planning, Follow-up and Administrative Reform and Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of the University, Vice-Chancellors and Deans of Faculties.
Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini stressed the importance of modernization and administrative development in all institutions, as a result of the great development witnessed by the world, noting that the skills already existed for many but absent their development for a period, pointing out that the development and development of skills will include all the university administrators in order to our desire for continuous improvement and this indicates On today's meeting, the university administration decided to start with the leaders and deans of the colleges in order to set an example for everyone.
Dr. Rehab Farrag, Director General of Human Resources Development at the National Institute of Management, noted in her speech on behalf of Prof. Dr. Sherifa Sherif, Executive Director of the National Institute of Management, Ain Shams University is the first university in Egypt and the Middle East to attend that experience, pointing to the role of the Institute in building human capacity within the framework of the administrative reform and 2030 strategy.
The workshop aims to provide the participants with the basic skills to obtain better results for the university staff through the dynamics of the working group or groups as well as the development of effective team building strategies, leading to achieve the best results and reach the desired goals effectively.
The workshop included a number of technical themes, including the importance of working as a team, designing teams, how to choose a team, measure team performance and prepare individuals for collective interaction within the team and the secrets of effective communication between the team and prepare individuals for cooperation and formation of team spirit in the work.
