Times Higher Education announced Ain Shams University among the "Top 8 Arab Universities" list as the best strategy for international cooperation represented by the International Relations and Academic Collaboration Sector among Arab universities.
Under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University and Prof. Ghada Farouk, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development and Acting Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, for the distinguished achievements made by the International Cooperation Sector according to the university's strategy over two years.
Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen stressed the continuation of implementing the university's strategy to expand partnerships and international cooperation with international entities and universities within the framework of implementing the National Strategy for Higher Education and Scientific Research 2030.
Prof. Ghada Farouk explained the university's strategy to develop education and scientific research and link its outputs to the needs of the labor market, employment, training and future jobs, which is an embodiment of the concept of international communication and cooperation.
Prof. Shahira Samir pointed out that since its inception, the sector has been working in accordance with the university’s strategy to develop innovative partnerships with leading and international universities, expand higher education opportunities, support initiatives that encourage academic cooperation, enable internationalization of curricula, and enhance the university’s public image and reputation.
During the ceremony held by the Times Higher Education Arab Awards in Dubai, Ain Shams University was honored, and the shield was received on behalf of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of the University, by Dr. Ahmed El Banna, Director of the International Classification Department at the University.
