In implementation of the directives of His Excellency the President of the Republic to launch the New Beginning for Human Development initiative, and under the auspices of Prof. Mohamed Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Ain Shams University, headed by Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, intends to participate in the "Best University for Student Activities" competition for the academic year 2024/2025.

The competition aims to enhance the role of student activities in building the personalities of university students, and support the development of their personal and social skills, which contributes to deepening the spirit of loyalty and belonging among university youth. It also aims to create an aware generation capable of facing the challenges of the future and contributing effectively to its society.

Ain Shams University has formed a committee to prepare the competition file in a manner befitting the name and history of Ain Shams University, noting that the Best University Competition for Student Activities in Egyptian Universities includes thirteen criteria, through which the Ministry can determine the first places for distinguished universities in student activities, provided that each university submits these criteria supported by documentary materials.

It is worth noting that Ain Shams University is the only university that has won the Best University Award at the level of Egyptian universities in student activities since its launch in 2019.
