Under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, a delegation from the University Students Union and the Students for Egypt family congratulated His Grace Bishop Ermia, General Bishop and Head of the Coptic Orthodox Cultural Center, and Assistant Secretary General of the Egyptian Family House, on the occasion of Christmas at St. Mark's Cathedral in Abbassia.
The visit was coordinated and supervised by Mr. Ibrahim Saeed, Assistant Secretary of the University for Education and Students Sector.
During the visit, Prof. Ahmed Dehoum, the leader of the Students for Egypt family at Ain Shams University, expressed his sincere congratulations to His Grace Bishop Ermia and all Coptic brothers on the occasion of Christmas, noting that the holidays represent a great occasion to enhance the spirit of love and brotherhood among the Egyptian people of all stripes, and to emphasize that Egypt, with its wise leadership, will always remain an oasis of security and safety, wishing for the continuation of love, peace and prosperity for our beloved country, Egypt.
Student Wesam Khaled, head of the University Students Union, stressed the respect and appreciation of the University Students Union for His Grace Bishop Ermia and all Coptic brothers, wishing that the new year would be a year of goodness for the great Egyptian people.
For his part, His Grace Bishop Ermia expressed his thanks and appreciation to the leaders of Ain Shams University and the students of the Students for Egypt family for this generous visit, appreciating the pioneering role of the university and students in serving the community and promoting the values of brotherhood and national cohesion.
This visit comes within the framework of Ain Shams University's keenness to consolidate and strengthen the bonds of cooperation and understanding, which contributes to building a cohesive society that is characterized by love and peace, and in appreciation of His Grace Bishop Ermia, General Bishop and Head of the Coptic Orthodox Cultural Center, and Assistant Secretary General of the Egyptian Family House, who has a close relationship with the university, as he always emphasizes its position and contributions to building the nation.
