Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, honored Prof. Shahira Samir, in appreciation of her efforts during her tenure as Executive Director of the International Relations Sector at the university. He also honored Prof. Tamer El-Nady for his distinguished efforts during his tenure as Grants and Projects Manager in the sector. This came during the celebration organized by the International Relations and Academic Collaboration Sector on the occasion of the 5th anniversary of its establishment.
During the celebration, the university president praised the achievements made in the sector since its inception, stressing that institutional work and continuous communication between the previous and current administrations of the sector will continue and is one of the main factors that will contribute to achieving more successes in the field of international cooperation at Ain Shams University.
For her part, Prof. Shahira Samir expressed her great happiness with this honor, pointing out the great support that the sector received from the previous and current university administration, which contributed to making it one of the prominent and successful sectors in carrying out its role at the local and international levels.
She also thanked the University President, Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, Prof. Ghada Farouk, Vice President of the University, and all the work teams in the International Relations Sector and the various university sectors, for their fruitful cooperation that helped highlight the role of the sector.
Prof. Tamer El-Nady also thanked the University President for his continuous support to the sector, and to all the work team that contributed to achieving these successes.
The celebration was attended by Prof. Ghada Farouk, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Abdel Fattah Saoud, former Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Ayman Saleh, former Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, and directors of departments of the International Collaboration Sector, in addition to a number of deans and vice deans of faculties, directors of centers, faculty staff, the head of the central administration of the University President’s Sector, assistant secretaries, and department directors.
