"Men's Health"...A workshop of the Department of Urology at the Faculty of Medicine

Under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Ali Al-Anwar, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at Ain Shams University and Chairman of the University Hospitals Board of Directors, inaugurated the activities of a workshop organized by the university's Urology Department on "Men's Health." The event was attended by Prof. Tarek Youssef, Executive Director of the University Hospitals, Prof. Essam Fakhry, Deputy Executive Director of the University Hospitals, Prof. Tarek Osman, Head of the Urology Department, and Prof. Sherif Mourad, Professor of Urology.

During his speech, Prof. Ali El-Anwar expressed his pride in organizing this workshop, which aims to address key issues related to men's health and highlight the latest developments in prostate surgeries and male health diseases. He emphasized the importance of enhancing cooperation between medical departments and supporting scientific activities, which contribute to improving the quality of healthcare services provided to patients.

Prof. Tarek Osman, Head of the Urology Department, stated that the workshop was a great success, having trained 148 young doctors from various hospitals across Egypt under the supervision of 45 trainers and professors from the Urology Department at Ain Shams University. He further explained that the workshop included specialized scientific sessions and comprehensive discussions on men's health, in addition to live surgical demonstrations on the treatment of male health conditions. These included treatments for infertility, sexual dysfunction, and correcting male genital deformities, all supervised by a select group of professors from the Urology Department.

The workshop witnessed broad participation from young doctors, including consultants and specialists in urology from different governorates of Egypt, who were keen to develop their skills and stay updated with the latest techniques in the field. The workshop's activities span two consecutive days, reflecting the commitment of the Faculty of Medicine at Ain Shams University to provide the best scientific and medical practices and to offer advanced educational opportunities for medical professionals.
