The Papyrological and Inscriptions Studies Center at Ain Shams University is holding its 12th international conference entitled (Manuscripts and Documents between Content and Maintenance) on February 16-17, 2025, under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Ghada Farouk, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Hossam Tantawy, Dean of the Faculty of Archaeology, Dr. Basem Mohamed, Acting Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, and coordinated by Dr. Eman Nabil, Director of the Papyrological and Epigraphic Studies Center, with the participation of ALECSO represented by its specialized body: the Institute of Arabic Manuscripts, and the Egyptian Geographical Society.

The activities of the first day of the conference will be held on the University Information Network at Ain Shams University, and the second day in the Royal Hall of the Egyptian Geographical Society.

The participants will present their research papers over the two days, distributed over the following axes:

- Geographical and temporal axis: (The Ancient Near East).

- Scientific axis.

-Technology, archiving, preservation and digitization axis.
