The President of Ain Shams University honors students of the Faculty of Science who won first places in the “SOLE 2025” Technology Competition

Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, honored the students of the Applied Biotechnology Program at the Faculty of Science, for winning first place in the “SOLE 2025” (Science Operation Leaders in Egypt) competition, which is one of the most prominent scientific competitions in Egypt.

This came in the presence of Prof. Mohamed Ragaa El-Satohi, Dean of the Faculty of Science, and Prof. Iman Abdel-Azim, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Education and Student Affairs, in addition to a group of professors and students.

         
   
         

The competition, which was held this year at Al-Azhar University, witnessed the participation of 20 Egyptian public, private and civil universities, and Ain Shams University students were able to achieve first place in three main tracks: Entrepreneurship, Presentation Skills, and Question and Answer Track.

Ain Shams University was represented by 22 male and female students, distributed into three teams, where they presented innovative projects in the fields of innovation and sustainability. Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen praised the students’ efforts and ambitions, stressing the importance of these projects in enhancing the future of the university and supporting the environment of creativity and teamwork.

It is worth noting that the “SOLE” competition is the most important and widespread in the field of science and technology in Egypt, as it is held this year in its eleventh edition, and aims to support young scientific leaders and enhance the spirit of innovation and competition among Egyptian universities.

This achievement is added to the record of successes of Ain Shams University in sponsoring creative students and consolidating its position as one of the leading universities in scientific research and innovation.
