Within the framework of the visit of the British Higher Education Mission to the Arab Republic of Egypt, Prof. Ghada Farouk, Vice President of Ain Shams University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, received a delegation from the University of Exeter, UK, to discuss ways of joint cooperation and mechanisms for activating the memorandum of understanding signed with Ain Shams University, to establish a distinguished campus for the University of Exeter, UK, within the international campus of Ain Shams University.

The meeting was attended by Dr. Ahmed El-Banna, Director of the International Classification Department, and Dr. Kamal Obeid, Director of the International Cooperation Department, along with representatives and professors from the Faculties of Medicine, Engineering, Computer and Information Sciences, and Business, where extensive scientific discussions took place on cooperation in the fields of medicine, engineering, and commerce.

It was agreed to coordinate new academic programs that include bachelor's and postgraduate degrees in advanced specializations such as: robotics and artificial intelligence, engineering management, business analytics, artificial intelligence in healthcare, public and global health, health data science, and computer science and data.
