Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, and Prof. Ghada Farouk, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, inaugurated Building 1 in the female students’ dormitory after its development with a capacity of 42 fully air-conditioned single rooms serving 42 female students, in the presence of Prof. Abdel Fattah Saoud, former Vice President for Education and Student Affairs.
During his speech, Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, stressed that this development is part of a comprehensive plan to develop university cities, aiming to provide the best services to male and female students, and to provide an environment that stimulates excellence and creativity, in the belief that the student is the focus of the educational process, and that providing a supportive environment for him is a duty on all of us, and we will continue to work to achieve this goal.

Emphasizing the university's belief that providing a comfortable and safe residential environment for female students is an integral part of the educational process, as it helps prepare them psychologically and mentally to achieve academic excellence, pointing out the university's keenness to provide all means of comfort and luxury in this building, from rooms equipped with modern furniture, central air conditioning, shared spaces designated for study, and recreational areas for practicing various activities.
His Excellency also thanked the Education and Students Sector - the University Cities Sector and the Engineering Administration for their efforts during the building's development period.
