The Third Scientific Forum for Graduates of the Faculty of Dentistry

Under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, the Faculty of Dentistry, headed by Prof. Karim El-Batouti, organized the third scientific forum for the faculty graduates, under the supervision of Prof. Reham Magdy, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Education and Students Affairs, and in the presence of Prof. Dalia El-Qurashi, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Postgraduate Studies and Research, and Prof. Walaa Mohamed, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs. The ceremony was coordinated by Dr. Amira El-Naggar, Director of the Graduates Unit at the Faculty, and the forum was attended by a group of faculty staff, assistants, distinguished graduates, and senior students of the Faculty.

         
   
         

In his speech, Prof. Karim El-Batouti stressed the importance of maintaining communication with the faculty graduates and knowing their steps, as the educational process is not separate, but graduates must be followed up to know ways to develop the teaching method and the requirements of the labor market, in addition to the ability to identify and solve problems.

He also pointed out that these forums are a good opportunity for graduates and students to learn about everything new in the field of oral and dental medicine, and recommended increasing the number of forums.

Prof. Reham Magdy, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, explained in her speech that the Graduates Follow-up Unit at the Faculty is keen to hold the scientific forum annually due to its great importance, as it aims to strengthen ties between graduates and exchange experiences in the field of dentistry, which helps in developing their skills and increasing their knowledge, which helps graduates update their information and strengthens ties with their parent faculty.

         
   
         

The lectures were delivered by a distinguished group of lecturers, some of whom are graduates of previous batches, who presented eight distinguished lectures and workshops on the latest developments in the field of dentistry.

The lectures covered topics of scientific and practical relevance, and the lecturers were honored for their efforts.

The topics revolved around the latest developments in the field of dentistry, clinic management skills, and e-marketing.

The attendees praised the level of lectures and organization in the opinion poll at the end of the forum.
